This website has been designed to be accessible by all users under the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines W3C for people with different abilities and browsers with specific requirements. All links are accessible through Access Keys for those unable to use a mouse. The rule is that the Access Key for any link is the first letter of that word. For example the access key for 'home' in the above menu is 'h' etc. Where there are duplicate letters, the access key is featured as part of the link, e.g. 'pictures - Z', or 'pictures'. The exception to this is the link to each 'text-only' page. Here the access key is always X.
How to use access keys:
Depending on your browser type use one of the following:
(i) With Windows-based systems, in general, press the "Alt" key and the relevant access key:
if you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4 then press "Alt" and the relevant number/letter at the same time
if you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 or 6 then press "Alt" and the relevant number/letter, then press the "Enter" key
if you are using Netscape version 6 or later, or Mozilla, then press "Alt" and the relevant number/letter at the same time.
(ii) With Macintosh-based systems, press the "Ctrl" key and the relevant access key.
The font used throughout this website is Trebuchet which is recommended by www. dyslexia.com as one of the most readable fonts for dyslexics. If you have any issue with the accessibility of this site please email the webmaster.
